I grew up very heavy around music. My parents were Deadheads but also enjoyed music from all over the world. My father was a Deadhead tapper. That is a person that goes to Grateful Dead shows with a tape deck and daisy chains their deck into the sound board to record the shows. Then share the tapes with friends. We always went to shows and I was constantly around equipment and instruments. Most of the people around me played instruments and I was no exception. I watched close to everything, learning how everything works, from the strings all the way to the speakers. My dad was really good with sound and taught me everything he knew about setting up systems. It didn't take long for me to develop my music tuning ear and to start setting up systems of my own. From DJ'ing parties and weddings, to running full live bands. Custom installs and setups at bars and clubs, even restoring vintage equipment. I'm very picky about how I do it, but the end result is very clear and is done with heart.
Here is a piano track of my playing. Feel free to enjoy listening.
